Committed to building a healthy, active community filled with kids who support one another in an encouraging environment. Our camps, classes and teams are designed to foster a feeling of fun and belonging.
If your kids want to learn to ROLL, BEND and FLIP all over the playground and house, Tumbling is just their thing, and Tumbling is our specialty. Spotlight is pleased to provide a variety of instructional tumbling for boys and girls ages 3-18. We have athletes traveling from all over RVA, including Chesterfield, West End, Glen Allen, Northern Neck and King William, because they progress quickly when taught proper technique and form. If your child is bored working on the same skills, it’s time to try Spotlight.
Children and teens will benefit not only from the athleticism they acquire through their participation in our Tumbling, Cheer and Ninja classes, but also leadership skills, sportsmanship, discipline, and friendships that will last a lifetime.
We are also thrilled to offer the first and only competitive Acrobatic Gymnastics team in Central Virginia. Acro is a nationally recognized, competitive sport that involves teams of 2-4 gymnasts working together to perform graceful, powerful floor routines consisting of tumbling, dance, and partner skills combined with strength, flexibility, and balance; all set to music. Acro Tumbling is also growing to be a HUGE Title IX sport offering scholarship opportunities at more and more colleges each year! If you want to learn more about acro, contact us
With years of competitive gymnastics, national fitness competitions, cheerleading and tumbling experience, the staff at Spotlight is qualified and dedicated to your child’s safety, success, and enjoyment. Our coaches are USA Gymnastics Safety and Risk Management Certified, Red Cross Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certified, and love their sport. Our owner has had the thrill of training with World Class Acro coaches and is excited to bring this incredible sport to Mechanicsville for all of Central VA to experience.
As our program grows, so will our gym size, class offerings and schedule. If our current schedule does not fit your needs or the classes you want are full, please contact us. We add classes based on YOUR feedback.
