Spotlight's Virtual Learning Center provides a quite setting for kids to participate in Hanover County's Virtual Learning Platform away from home. We are preparing a special space, located behind our current gym. The learning center will provide:

• Assistance accessing online classes and assignments

• Learning Center Coaches to help kids understand and complete assignments

• Much needed socially distanced interaction with other kids 

• Non-screen breaks both indoors and outdoors

• Exercise/fitness activities utilizing our own gymnastics center

• Over 6 hours each day for parents to focus on their many other responsibilities

Spotlight's Virtual Learning Center is only open to a total of 10 kids, grades K-5. Our center will open WHEN Hanover County transitions from a mix of in-school learning and virtual learning to 100% virtual learning. 

To secure your child's place, a registration fee of $50 is due upon registration. This fee is non-refundable for any reason except:

1. Hanover County Public Schools DO NOT transition to 100% virtual learning before January, 2021

2. Spotlight is unable to accommodate your child in our virtual learning center

 

You will be sent a copy of our Learning Center Handbook, which must be signed and returned before your child's reservation is saved.

When it comes to education, parents have been faced with extremely difficult choices this year. We want to offer  families the best alternative to in-school learning.
